So what are you up to these days?
Well, hanging out with my kids at church and my family. I was just appointed the children's ministry leader.
What's it like working with kids?
I really do like working with kids. They're amazing, and fearless.
Marriage? Thinking about it?
Hmmm, marriage. Not married. I have definitely thought about it, just waiting on God to bring the right one.
Any adventures or excursions or vacations you'd like to tell us about?
Yes. About two years ago I went on a Missions trip to Old Mexico. It was way, way down in the mountains in Mexico. It took us about 3 or so days driving all day to get there. But we went to go to a village that the missionary had been to before but God opened the doors and we were able to go minister to a group of Tarahumara Indians that had never heard of the Gospel before.
It was amazing. I also met a very special little girl down there.
Can you tell us about the little girl?
She was a little girl a met in a church down in Mexico. She was around 8 or 9. She is a very beautiful girl, who loves God a lot.
What has been the most valuable lesson you've learned since high school?
The most valuable lesson I've learned. God is everything. He is All Sufficent and He loves everybody, no matter what they've done, no matter where they've been. He loves everyone. That is AMAZING!
If one of your classmates could know just one thing about your life since high school, what would it be?
When I was in high school, all I thought about was getting out and being successful. Now, all I think about is staying in Colcord, and reaching the lost, broken hearted, and down trodden. That is my life.
If you could tell a current senior one thing, what would it be?
Life looks good from where you're standing, but no one is promised tomorrow. Make it the best day, everyday.
And, most importantly, what is your favorite song from the nineties?
Wow, my favorite song. I love music. lol. That's a hard question. Probably the prom theme "Truly, Madly, Deeply."
